**Participants must be at least 16 years old 𝘂𝗻𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗜𝗡 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘. Exceptions may be granted to those under 16 who — by their trail/race experience — show us that they are capable of completing this course.

Participants who are under 16 and are approved to participate will be registered the day of the event and parents/guardians will be required to sign a waiver at that time. Any participant under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (i.e. you must run together and stay together during the entire event).

Email thefrozensnot@gmail.com if you would like us to consider your child for an exception. Our race is tough even for the most hardcore trail runner. If you know, you know. If you don’t know, you probably think we’re speaking in hyperbole. We’re not. People have been seriously injured on the course. It’s absolutely imperative that we do our best to put on the safest race for everyone. If you’re caught violating this rule, you and your underage participant will be removed from the race and you will be banned from future events. You will not receive a refund for your registration fees.

Over the years this has largely been a non-issue, and we have the utmost gratitude for those who have already reached out to get approval without even knowing about this policy.
